Darren Reevell

Darren has been coaching for over 14 years, working with athletes of all abilities, from beginners through to international athletes. He has been England Team Coach and Team Manager at numerous international events throughout Europe, is the England Athletics Regional Coaching Lead for Endurance (North) and Event Lead for Ultra Running as well as being involved in the Junior Talent Programme. Darren is coach to several athletes at his local club, Pocklington Runners and has coached athletes who have gone on to represent England. When time allows, Darren does run himself. He has raced in all distances from the mile to marathon, but these days focuses on enjoyment and prefers to run ultra-races.

Fun fact: Darren once ran the London Marathon wearing nothing but a pair of budgie smugglers (not a recommended strategy) to raise money for charity.

Jo Wilkinson

Jo has been involved in athletics for over 35 years from childhood to senior level as an athlete and coach. She competed at international level on track, road and XC including Commonwealth Games, European Championship and World XC representation and finished in the top 20 in the London Marathon Elite Women’s Race. As an Endurance Event Group Coach, Jo brings all her reflections and experience of being coached by leading GB coaches and competing at a high level to her own coaching. Jo currently coaches predominantly marathon runners with several England Masters Athletes in her group. In addition, Jo coaches a group on behalf of RAF Honington and a Run Together group aimed at beginners and new runners who enjoy running and who want to improve their 5k.

Fun fact: Jo once beat Paula Radcliffe – albeit when they were both 16 years old!

Tom Craggs

Tom is England Athletics Road Running Manager, has been coaching club and international athletes for over 10 years including several current England and GB international athletes. Tom has a MSc in performance coaching from Stirling University and is Runners World UK head coach. Tom has been England endurance team coach & leader at various road and track and field internationals over the past few years. Tom is also a level 3 advanced personal trainer with a specialism in sports conditioning.

Fun fact: Tom was the 2017 Frome Santa Run 5km Champion

Mark Brace

Mark has been coaching club through to international level athletes for over 20 years. As well as coaching at his local club, North Devon Athletics Club, Mark is the England Athletics Regional Coaching Lead for Endurance (South West) and has been England endurance team staff on road and track events over the past 4 years. Mark is a specialist in physical prep and is a tutor for England on the Physical preparation courses run through the country.

Matt Long

Matt has been coaching for 19 years, supporting athletes from club to international level. Matt is currently involved with several clubs as a Run Leader and Coach working with athletes of varying abilities as well as being the Midlands Men’s Team Manager for road, cross country and Masters. As a support coach Matt has had the pleasure of working with numerous athletes who have competed in major championships including the Olympics, World and European championships and Commonwealth Games as well as Masters athletes who have represented England and Northern Ireland.

Fun fact: Matt is an active member of The Steve Cram Appreciation Society and he collects retro athletics memorabilia as a hobby!
